Ay! I need to have these pre-written to post in the final moments in class, lest they slip away. Sorry, folks (and tip o' the blog hat to Larry for the polite reminder).
1. Work with Flash (and if possible Frame Thief) to achieve a "level of comfort" with animation concepts. Refer to this gallery of concept examples that we looked at in class.
2. Write a short description of a simple task for a short video piece (between 60 and 90 seconds). You will use that as a basis for making a storyboard in class on Thursday.
3. Read the handout and be prepared to discuss in class.

Is there a "FrameThief" or comparable app that works on Windows (PC) Platforms?
You could assemble images in an app like Photoshop/Image ready, but I don't know any off hand that are akin to Frame Thief on PC
Simple Task - Brushing Teeth
Enter the bathroom and stand at sink. Reach for and grab the toothbrush from the toothbrush holder. Turn on the faucet and wet the bristles under the stream of water. Grab the toothpaste from the holder and pop the cap with your thumb. Squeeze some toothpaste onto the ends of the bristles of the toothbrush. Close the toothpaste and place back in the holder. Begin brushing teeth, using up and down motion and moderate force. After a minute, bend down and spit into the sink, then rinse your mouth with water. Rinse off the end of the toothbrush and place it back into the toothbrush holder. Smile.
Finding the Keys
The train is coming in another 15 minutes. Time to roll out.
---Every time before I walk out of my apartment door, a deepest fear would emerge… The keys are not at where they were supposed to be. In fact, I usually like to play hide and seek with the keys before I go out, but not TODAY.
Hmm…where did I put you last night when I got back? Are you on the dining table? No. The kitchen sink, in the shoes, under the bed, on the door….? No…. Gotcha! You are definitely in my bag….Empty.
Ok…I think this is about time to panic….I only have 90 seconds to find the keys and fly to the station, or the next train I take would be directly to the HELL… (Deep breath)
Wait. What’s it keeps poking my ribs in my jacket pocket? My keys!! You suckers been in there for the whole time. (pause) Now I have I-don’t-want-to-know-how-many seconds left to catch the train….
Nice try, keys, but I won yet again!
This is a specific type of coffee maker. To be fair, there is a youtube based instructional video, but i'm shooting this based off of my own process of making coffee and haven't really watched the other.

Find a cup.
Find some coffee (or grind it).
Take a microfilter out of the stand.
Insert it into the grill.
Screw grill onto the main aeropress chamber.
MAKING
Measure desired amount of coffee into main chamber.
Measure appropriate amount of water.
dump into main chamber, wait a few seconds.
stir for 10 seconds.
Insert syringe into main chamber.
Press down over around 20 seconds.
Add additional water or milk for desired effect.
CLEANUP
Unscrew grill over trashcan, push syringe through to empty out grounds and filter.
wash and wipe down all parts used.
My Diabetic cat Tiggy's feeding/insulin shot cycle.
Food into bowl, hold bowl up, "tiggy sit", wait for puppycat to sit, "tiggy speak" wait for him to make his cute little gutteral half-meow sound. Good tiggy, bowl down.
Skip to living room, I get distracted as usual. Tiggy jumps on futon, sits quietly watching me on my computer. Couple minutes... paw on my leg, I turn my head.. "meow". Shot time.
Kitchen - remove insulin from fridge, uncap syringe. Measure 1+ unit, bottle back into fridge. Back out to living room, Tiggy sees syringe, sits and makes his cute little gutteral half-meow, and waits for the pinch.
I get behind Tigs, pinch up a bit of skin from his back slowly ease in syringe, push the top of syringe so insulin goes under skin. Ease syringe out, "good tiggy good tiggy"... lots of pats and kisses, he proudly looks at me waits for treat. I grab bag o'treats pull out 2, place on futon. Tiggy eats treats, jumps down walks back to kitchen and finishes food. Cap syringe, dump into big empty tide container for later disposal. End scene. (cycle repeats 12 hours later)
Simple Task - Putting in Contacts
Point out all of the items needed to put in contacts. Open cleaning fluid, Open contact container.
Take right contact out and put drops in of cleaner. Clean with fingers.
Open eye - insert contact.
Repeat.
batt eyes into the camera.
This will be done with live action and claymation using framethief and shot film.

How to change a biycle Tube
First take the wheel off of the bicycle.
Using a tire lever, remove the tire with the busted tube and the busted tube away.
Check the tire for nails, glass, etc.
Put the tire on the wheel so half of it ishanging off.
Start tucking in the new tube making sure the air valve is pushed through the hole on the
tire.
Using a tire lever, push in the part of tire
that was hanging off the wheel so it is sealed around.
use a pump and fill tube with air and tighten valve.
Finally, put the fixed wheel/tire/tube back on the
bike and try make it to class on time, haha.
